Brass Lessons in the Indy Area
Scholarships
 
Scholarships are available to students who want to take lessons, but who cannot afford to do so.  Scholarships are limited to students who attend school's where Mr. Appel already is teaching.  Lesson time is dependant on availability of Mr. Appel's schedule.  Candidates will fit the following guidelines:
  • Excellent classroom behvior/Approval from band director.
  • Strong desire to improve and willingness to work at home.
  • Written recommendation from another teacher, youth group leader, minister or other influential adult.
  • Interview with Mr. Appel, including one parent or guardian.
  • Application completed and turned in by August 27th, 2008 for first session and December 20th for second session.
