Students who achieve various accomplishments and skills with Mr. Appel are recognized in two ways.  At the middle school level, they are recognized with "Skill Awards", which are accomplished a little at a time throughout the middle school career. 

As high school students, their goal is to achieve "Certificates".  These Certificates are true challenges to accomplish and are accompanied by letters of recommendation from Mr. Appel, for future educational needs.  These students must pass a "Jury" where these requirements are reviewed.  High school students who accomplish the various levels of Certificates will be permanently recognized here.
